Webinar: CaresAct

Cash flow now and in the months ahead is critical for property owners as well as for tenants. CCIM has teamed up with CSSI to provide this time sensitive webinar. It is more important than ever for a CCIM broker to remain a Trusted Advisor and provide critical information for their clients, so that they may continue to thrive in this challenging investment environment. This webinar will provide valuable details on The CARES Act Legislation pertaining to special tax treatment available for anyone who owns or leases commercial or residential income property.

You will strengthen client relationships by informing them of this profitable solution which can replace significant cash flow they may have recently lost. This CARES Act Legislation surrounding taxes for Landlords creates $30,000 to $80,000 in increased cash flow per $1,000,000 of property owned. This program not only boosts cash flow for investment property owners, but is highly beneficial for those who have simply paid for tenant improvements.

Specific topics to be covered, include: using an NOL (net operating loss) in a loss carryback to generate a refund, ways to create an NOL by reducing your taxes in the current cycle, and maximizing the benefits of Qualified Improvement Property, which now meets the definition for Bonus Depreciation.

The CARES Act allows owners to get money back from the US Treasury when they need it most; this coming in the form of a cash refund or as a reduction of taxes in the current cycle.  We look forward to diving into greater detail in this exciting webinar—we hope you will join us!
