2020 Carmela Ma Endowment

This endowment is designed to promote active CCIM Candidates to complete their core courses. The recipient will be reimbursed the tuition for one of the core courses (CI 101, 102, 103 or 104), up to $1,000. The recipient is responsible for any travel or other such expenses above the cost of the course. The reimbursement will take place once proof of successful completion of the course is provided.

ABOUT THE CCIM FOUNDATION

The CCIM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Mission of the CCIM Foundation is to advance and foster commercial real estate education through scholarships, programs and initiatives.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM GUIDELINES

The Carmela Ma Endowment was created to support qualified real estate professionals in their efforts to achieve the CCIM designation. The recipient should exemplify the high caliber of professionals that comprise the CCIM Institute. The 2020 Carmela Ma Endowment must be used in the calendar year of 2020 towards an in-class course (not applicable to exams or online courses); recipients can choose to be reimbursed for a 2019 in-class course that was taken prior to the scholarship award. Recipient must be an active CCIM Greater Los Angeles Chapter member. Recipient will exemplify the character and professionalism of Carmela Ma Endowment Selection Criteria.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The selection shall primarily be base on merit, including the following factors:

- Commitment to a real estate or related career
- Civic and community activities
- History of employment
- Personal and professional references
